Just in case anyone reads the previous post and got worried for the rabbit
: mystery of the lost rabbit solved!
Had a really wonderful experience this past few days, getting a lot of insights and things that I thought I wouldn't have seen in my entire live. (: wait, one smile is definitely not enough to describe my happiness but how many smiles is enough anyway? Haha, yes I am THAT happy. And the reason? I was on an attachment to a hospital( thanks Odac!) looking at endoscopy being carried out, something that used to be just pure images in the textbooks, and real ct scan happening before my very own eyes etc. the way each family cares for the patient and doing what they could to shelter their family from the pain. It's something right in front of you and thus the impact is definitely greater than what limited words can describe. Of course, there are many cons to the job as well which I have not experience during the course but it's prob part of imperfection that we have to settle with.
Frankly speaking, what made me truly excited was not the machines I've seen, nor the different rooms that used to be out of bounds to me, but the fact that there are vulnerable people before me, and that I may have the chance to help them get better.
It is the fact that I have cleared my doubts and am taking a step, no matter how tiny it may be, closer to my dream.
It may remain as a hope, but at least I knew that i did my best and leave with no regrets.
