Pride. @ 12:30:00 PM
Is it really human nature to always think of themselves first?
How a particular thing need to always benefit themselves first. Even though it comes at the cost of others, its alright so long as it benefits me. If something goes against our wishes, instead of feeling happy for the majority, we need to complain and whine about how thanks to others, we got screwed up. Why can't we just stay happy for people, that although we are suffering, they are living well due to our tears and sweat?
Soci taught me that everything is a social construct. Including the useless pride which unfortunately ruin so many things. Why can't we just put our emotions down and start thinking logically on what we can and should do to solve the problems? Take a step back. If you truly value your relationship more than your pride, then take a step back. If the other party feels the same way, it'll all work out.
It's true that if we don't start loving ourselves, it's even harder for others to love us.
But have we come to a point that we are all so focused on loving ourselves that we forgot to spare some thoughts for other people?
Because we are all so perfect.
Everytime.
It's time like this that I lose hope in so many things.
But all I can do is to control myself.
Don't be like this.
